Dr. Thomas Simpson

Simpson Dentistry

Simpson Dentistry was founded and established in 1982 by Dr. Thomas Simpson. As a private Family Practice for over 24 years, Dr. Simpson provides a broad spectrum of services for his patients, starting with a child’s first “happy visit” to extensive restorative rehabilitation for your bite and your smile.

His professional focus is to serve as a health coach; working together with his patients in discovering and maintaining their dental health, identifying concerns and creating a wellness plan. This type of doctor-patient relationship establishes the trust and commitment needed for succesful preventive dental care.

Dr. Thomas M. Simpson

Dr. Simpson was born and raised in a small, rural southwestern Minnesota community. This childhood experience helped develop his deeply rooted and strong midwestern values. He graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, majoring in Biology.

Though he has an abiding love for the outdoors, his desire for human relationships and a love of hands-on work directed him to the profession of dentistry. After graduation from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1982, he moved to Colorado and has been in private practice in Boulder and Nederland ever since.

Tom resides in the Boulder foothills area with his wife, Wynne, and their family pets. Their daughter, Brenna, has graduated from college and settled into the Portland, Oregon, area.

Personal interests include fly-fishing, backcountry skiing, mountain biking and searching for pristine spaces across the land. He continues to enjoy his love of the outdoors as part of his daily life.
